Thus begins my trip to Peru.

My dad is setting up a program for his department at Wabash College (Crawfordsville, Indiana). He is combining this with the work my family ...aka mostly parents... does with the Orphan Care Ministry at my church, Sunrise Christian Reformed. I love Peru and know this only because I have been there 3 times on week-long mission trips that my church coordinated with Buckner Missions International. So my family will be involved with visiting different homes in Lima, the capital of Peru.

I am really excited about our trip! We have our apartment and plane tickets all set to go. We leave on January 6 and come back on March 26. I hope to keep in touch with everyone through this blog, email, Skype, and Facebook. (Please note that I check up on Facebook more than email...) As for school, teachers will give us some material before we leave and email/scan stuff to us while we are away. I think the plan is to pay more attention to tests, quizzes, and projects rather than every single little assignment (that is A LOT of scanning!).

So yeah, I am pumped for everything, even though I am missing stuff at home like Spirit Week, school, friends, and the Percy Jackson movie coming out *sob*.

I would appreciate your prayers! Thanks for checking this out! Stay tuned for more updates...
Love, Mags:)
